this line could be our missing MOORE line.  this family lived next doors or very close to our greatgrand mother NANCY ANN MAYES.
the are is known as BARREN CREEK in CLAIBORNE Co.,TN.

 Nancy was b.1845 in RAY or CLAY Co.,MO. as a child the family moved back to CLAIBORNE Co.,TN. her parents were born there.
Nancy was at home age 15 in the 1860 census. never found in a census. she died 1883. was married to a BOLIN. we are sort of wondering if we are reaally of MAYES blood lines.

Nancy married? no paper proof. JACK MOORE about 1860-61. 1 son was b.1861 MO. 1 son in TX. this is very interesting, as the MOORE lines below also moved to TX.

a recent found MOORE cousin said her dad said his grandparents, my great. were from IRELAND & spelled it O'MOORE, or other variant.

a cousin has had a 25 marker DNA done.

NOTE: there are several SAMSON MOOREs below.
NOTE: in another list it has the possiblity that SAMSON MOORE was known as OUTLAW CURLY SAM MOORE. no proof. but my gramp's has a missing brother WILL that was a gunman & gambler. and in my dad's family some were a devil may care attitude.
