THOMAS JEFFERSON MOORE, b.1861 in MO. 1st marr. DELPHIA C. GRUBBS, on 13-APR-1890. in KNOXVILLE,TN.
I get a feeling DELPHIA & ALLEN GRUBBS below are sister & brother. but censuses say she was born in TN. so maybe cousins.
they had 1 son: FRANK b.1895. Frank married DAISY GRUBBS. in the 1920 census has DAISY & her brother LENARD, or LEONARD? as being from ALABAMA.
FRANK & DAISY are buried at the KNOXVILLE NATIONAL CEMETERY. Frank is a WW 1 Vet.
THOMAS's 2nd marriage: in 1905, ANNA POE?. not known
where he married her.
they had 6 kids.
THOMAS's parents were best we know JACK & NANCY MAYES
MOORE. Nancy Mayes: b.1845 in RAY Co,MO.
JACK is my main search.
Note: in the 1880-1900-1910 censuses THOMAS spelled
his name as MORE. the 1st was in CLAIBORNE Co.TN. the orther 2 in
KNOX Co.TN. he died 1918-19.
