Whiteaker, Robert Lee - Jan. 16, 1935
  Robert Lee Whiteaker passed away January 10th at 3:20 a.m. at his home two miles north of Tazewell after a lingering illness of fourteen months.
     Mr. Whitaker was born near Cave Springs and had spent all his life in Claiborne County.  He was a member of the Dogwood M. E. church at the time of his death.
     He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mossie Kate
     Whiteaker, and four sons, Edd and Curren Whiteaker of Benham, Ky. and Henry and Stirl of Tazewell, and two brothers Clinton and Estell Whiteaker.
     Funeral services were conducted Friday at ten oÕclock at the home of Rev. Robin Harrell.  Interment was in the Cosby cemetery.
