Arlen “Hero” Lambert Jr., 55 (3/4)
Arlen “Hero” Lambert Jr., 55 TAZEWELL, Tenn. —
Arlen “Hero” Lambert Jr., 55, passed away Wednesday,
March 3, 2004, at the Claiborne County Hospital. Born
November 2, 1948, he was he son of the late Hubert
Lambert and Desliee Hill Marlow. He was a member of
Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded
in death by
his grandparents who raised him, Sam and Martha
Lambert. Survivors include his wife, Maxine “Macky”
Lambert, Tazewell; daughter, Sandra Lambert Moore and
husband, Eddie Moore, Tazewell; son, Arlen Shane
Lambert, and wife Natasha Lambert, Tazewell;
grandchildren, Samuel Taylor, Tabitha Taylor, Cindy
Leann “LuLu” Taylor; six half-sisters, two half-brothers;
special friends, Scott Taylor, Brian Kieser, and Ray
Mullins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Saturday at
Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev, Jakie
Cunningham and Rev. Tony Baker presiding. Music will
be provided by Arlen Lambert, Sandra Moore, and
Richard Collins. Burial will be in the Arlen Lambert
Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Denvil Whitaker,
Scott Bolton, Brian Bunch, Dennis Cornett, Ray Mullins,
and Brian Kieser. The family will receive friends from
6-9
p.m. Thursday and Friday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Coffey Funeral Home, Tazewell, Tenn., is in charge of
arrangements.

Patsy K. Anderson obituary:
Patsy K. Anderson, 87, of Lafayette, died at 2:15 a.m.
Friday, Nov. 7,
2003, in St.
Mary's Health Care.
Born July 16, 1916, in Tazewell, Tenn., she married Arthur
Carmony Sr.,
who
preceded her in death. She then married Hughey
Anderson, and he preceded
her
in death.
Mrs. Anderson was a housekeeper for Kappa Alpha Theta
at Purdue
University for
20 years.
She enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
Surviving are a son, Arthur Carmony (wife: Patricia) of
Lafayette; a
daughter,
Norma Godfrey of Lakeland, Fla.; four sisters, Rettie
Hill
of Talbot,
Lillie Smith and
Leoria Rice of Monroe, Mich., and Lora Swoop of
Speedwell, Tenn.; and two
brothers, Bufford Lambert and TJ Lambert of Monroe, Mi.

Buford Lambert, 79, of Monroe died at 7:12 a.m. Thursday at Mercy
Memorial
Hospital's emergency room. He had been in the hospital since
June 26.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 9
p.m. Sunday
at Bacarella Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1 p.m.
Monday.
The Rev. James Jacobs, chaplain at Mercy Memorial Hospital, will
officiate.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Born Jan. 28, 1925, in Tazewell, Tenn., he was the son of Samuel
and
Martha
(Hensley) Lambert. He married Elsie Marie Parriet Oct. 11, 1956,
in
Tazewell. She died Dec. 6, 2001.
Surviving are four sons, David L. and Lonnie G. (Alice), both
of Monroe,
Oddis J. of Adrian and Roger W. (Lauralee) of Lincoln Park; two
daughters,
Gloria M. (Greg) Richardson of Monroe and Julie A. Lambert of
Findlay,
Ohio; a brother, T.J. (Georgia) of Monroe; four sisters, Rettie
Hill of
Indiana, Loria (James) Swope of Tennessee and Lillie Smith and
Leoria
(Ed)
Rice, both of Monroe, and 10 grandchildren.
